Your Journey
Home to Home
Every guest goes through the same five steps, from your first question to aftercare at home. Here is what happens at each one, what your coordinator does, and what is up to you.
-
Step 1
Inquiry
- What happens
- You tell us what you’re looking for and roughly when, in six short questions. No medical details yet.
- Your coordinator
- Replies within one business day, then sends a secure link for medical details and consent.
- You
- Fill in the form. Share details only through the secure link.
-
Step 2
Matched with a clinic in Seoul
- What happens
- We suggest clinics from our partner network that fit what you asked for, and you receive a quote from the clinic.
- Your coordinator
- Explains the options and passes your questions to the clinic.
- You
- Choose a clinic, or ask for other options. Nothing is booked until you agree.
-
Step 3
Terms confirmed
- What happens
- Dates and appointments are confirmed with the clinic before you travel.
- Your coordinator
- Keeps your schedule in one place.
- You
- Plan your flights and stay around the confirmed dates.
-
Step 4
Visit and treatment in Seoul
- What happens
- Your doctor examines, advises and treats. How long you stay depends on the treatment: some take a day, others about a week. The clinic confirms this with your quote.
- Your coordinator
- Goes with you to the clinic and handles check-in and wayfinding. Inside the consultation room, the clinic’s in-house interpreter, a member of the clinic’s staff, supports you in English.
- You
- Make your treatment decisions with your doctor.
-
Step 5
Aftercare at home
- What happens
- Back home, you’re not on your own. For checkups, results can take several days; the clinic’s doctors explain them in a follow-up consultation.
- Your coordinator
- Calls to check in with you, books follow-up consultations with the clinic, and passes your questions to the clinic. With your consent, keeps your family updated.
- You
- Tell us how you’re doing, and ask anything.
Arranging this for someone else?
If you’re booking for a parent or relative who will travel without you: with their consent, your coordinator keeps you updated at each step. Consent is given through the secure link, by the guest.
What we don’t do
- Interpret inside the consultation room. The clinic’s in-house interpreter does that.
- Recommend treatments or make medical decisions. Your doctor does.
- Provide medical care. WhereInSeoul is a registered facilitator, not a clinic.
Start with step one.
Six short questions. A coordinator replies within one business day.
